This winter my youth group was doing a ski school and I of course was a part of it. The 3rd week I fell and all the pain I felt was in my knee. It was excruciating. But I was able to get up and walk it off. kind of. We still ended up at the doctor, where I was told to wear a brace for a week and see how it was. It was fine, I thought I'd skip a week of skiing and be back to normal.
On super bowl sunday Katie, Matt, and I were watching the game at my dad's house. Katie and I were being stupid and goofing off trying to touch the ceiling. I of course had to go and jump and try ONE more time. When I landed I felt me knee go completely sideways. I fell back into a wall and collapsed one the floor.
I'm not going to go into all the horrible details of that night, but it was LONG, hard and painful. 2 days later I'd had an MRI and been diagnosed with a completely torn ACL, partially torn MCL, and partially torn meniscus.
Since then I have gone through P.T. and many other things and now, surgery is only 2 weeks away!
